U.S Government Shutdown
"I know it's been used in the past, but we used the atomic bomb back in 1945 but we decided we weren't going to do something like that again," he said.

Is Ted Cruz the most dangerous man on American right?
Chris Hayes: "But tonight we begin with a man who I believe is the most dangerous politician on the American right. In October 2007 I sat in the media gallery of the United States Supreme Court and watched the solicitor general of Texas argue on behalf of the state that he should have the ability to put to death a Mexican national, José, who had been convicted of raping and murdering two teenage girls in Houston. He won that argument and he was executed by Texas on august 5th, 2008, despite the objections of the United Nations and the international court of justice.
At the time, I had no idea who this man arguing on behalf of Texas was. But all I could think was holy crap, this guy is good. It was one of his nine times arguing before the Supreme Court and he was witty, incredibly fast on his feet and clearly had a brilliant legal mind. It is to this day one of the most impressive displays I have ever seen before the court and I have had the good fortune to spend a lot of time there.
So you can imagine my horror in 2012 when I tuned into the Texas senate race. I hadn't been paying much attention to. And realized that lieutenant governor David Dewhurst, the Republican establishment candidate, was being prepared by a tea party candidate who was the same guy I saw kick ass in the Supreme Court in 2007. .. that night I made that connection, oh, this is trouble. And trouble that man has been. Trouble in every direction. As he vies to be the singular voice of the right wing grassroots and as he has very quickly assumed a leadership role in movement.
He’s a man who combines the intellectual credentials and pedigree of Barack Obama, with the raw right wing populist appeal of Sarah Palin. His full name is Rafael Edward Cruz. He was born in Calgary, Alberta, in Canada.
We learn this week when he released his birth certificate to the Dallas morning news. He’s 42 years old. Born in Canada to an American mother, likely a dual citizen of Canada and the United States. Something the senator from Texas seemed shocked and upset by. Late last night in a response to the story revealing the likelihood of him having dual citizenship, "I will renounce any Canadian citizenship. Nothing against Canada, but I’m an American by birth. as a U.S. senator, I believe I should be only an American." Recommend this post

Tea Party is racist
A study by the university of Notre Dame has removed any doubt. It has only changed its uniform otherwise it is just another white supramist group with a tiny number of black Uncle Toms.

Chris Matthews - Tea Party Interview

Madness reaches the highest pitch. Tea Party rhetoric is having its impact. Sarah Palin had a map with bullseye targets on her facebook, targeting members of Congress she wanted to see defeated, including Gabrielle Giffords who was the victim of the attempted assassination. Tea Partiers and rightwingers can deny as much as they want, but their vitriolics are having their impact. This rhetoric can encourage deranged minds like the gunman in Arizona.

Tea Party aka Tea Baggers aka KKK has arrived in Canada

It is scary. What happens in the south of us bubbles up into Canada. “ ….the Royal Canadian Legion in Campbellford, Ont., where a man in a Ku Klux Klan outfit, trailing a noose-necked man in blackface, won first prize at a Halloween party last weekend.” Watch out Canada and keep the so-called Tea-Baggers aka KKK out. U.S. Tea Party and Evolution
U.S. Tea Party has made me a believer in evolution. After watching a couple of documentaries on the U.S. Tea Party and watching the mid-term U.S. Congressional elections it became obvious that there is some merit to the Darwinian Theory of evolution. That is, there could have been evolution but Tea Partiers aka Tea Baggers have not evolved yet. Recommend this post

Tea Party - If it wins the party is over
Keith Olbermann gave an excellent extended Special Comment on the extremism of Tea Party candidates, using their own words to expose their agenda and what it would mean for Americans. It would be an America that Americans would no longer recognize.

Origins of the Tea Party

Father Coughlin
It surely is not a new movement. Although it might have not been called Tea Party some of the early leading figures of this kind of ideology include Father Coughlin, Billy James Hargis , Joe McCarthy and Barry Goldwater. Last night Christ Matthews had a documentary on the Rise of the New Right. I could not find the exact video but views of Father Coughlin and Billy James Hargis were pointed out which have similarities to some of today’s Tea Party leaders. As Professor Allan Lichtman of American University highlights the main views of Father Coughlin,
“Father Coughlin had two main messages. One was an economic message, that we needed a more populist approach to economics, but his other message was highly anti-Semitic and highly authoritarian that a conspiracy of international bankers to great extent led by Jews were responsible for the Great Depression, were responsible for the continuation of hard times and that may be Adolf Hitler and Germany had some right ideas.” Allan Lichtman
We should not underestimate the Tea Party and better watch out for them. It is an old evil of racism and bigotry which is raising its ugly head. Especially the election of Barack Obama to the presidency has enraged the red-neck bigots and it is leading to no good. The birthers like Orly Taitz and their ilk are really stirring up the pot by spreading hatred.

Andrew Breitbart – Unhooded and exposed

What was Andrew Breitbart thinking when he started the smear campaign against Shirley Sherrod? Because of his charade Shirley Sherrod has become a household name and a role model for millions. Also it has exposed the racist nature of the Tea Party. He must be grinding his teeth, biting his nails and whipping his own a*& now. What a suffering succotash! Recommend this post

From KKK to Tea baggers

They tell you that society is evolving and progressing but quite often one evil morphs into another evil. It may change its looks but it does not change its content. KKK morphing into the Tea Party is one good example. Tea Party followers are raising their ugly head in Canada too. So watch out. Recommend this post

Rand Paul: “That man is an idiot”
Rand Paul is a big fan or one of the leaders of the Tea Party/Teabaggers groups. That tells a lot about Teabaggers that if they had their way, what they are capable of. Below is a video from Keith Olbermann, Countdown, MSNBC and Olbermann and his guests' views on Rand Paul of Kentucky. My suggestion to Rand Paul will be eat a lot of Kentucky Fried Chicken and save some for medical care and have a chat with Sue Lowden of Nevada. They both form a good team of Teabaggers Lunacy Group or TLG political party.
