Arnon Milchan: A U.S filmmaker , billionaire and also spy for Israel

Arnon Milchan was the first one who provided the necessary material to Israel to make its first atomic bomb. Why U.S, Canada and other Europeon nations not go after Arnon Milchan. When it comes to Iran they are all gung ho. Hypocrisy and double-standards.

Julian Assange: Not a perpetrator but a victim

I promised to say more about Julian Assange, so here it is. We complain about dictatorships in China, Russia, as well as the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, but is not the locking away of Assange authoritarian behaviour? This shows that we have dictatorship in the guise of democracy; the worst kind of dictatorship as it is shrouded in hypocrisy.

The United States and other governments claim that it is a security issue, but do memos stating that Sarkozy is arrogant or Berlusconi incompetent a threat to troops or national security? This is pure nonsense. It is governments being secretive and controlling the flow of information.

When Assange's Wikileaks site exposed documents related to corruption in Kenya, he was applauded for it and received an award from Amnesty International. Though if it is a superpower that is exposed, like the United States, then Assange is a criminal who is silenced and locked away. It is not justice and rule of law that reigns, but rather brute force.

The sex crimes allegations against Assange are a ruse. The link here is from a well-known feminist who says that if the criteria used by Interpol against Assange are applied generally, then more than one million men in the United States should be seized by Interpol. Basically any man who has shown some insensitivity towards a woman (for example has cheated on a girlfriend or something else along those lines) is a perpetrator of sex crimes and should be imprisoned.

Julian Assange it seems has a lot of girlfriends, but that’s about it. The sex crimes allegations are an attempt to tarnish Assange’s reputation and silence him. Is this democracy?

Rush Limbaugh has a thing for Elton John

Apparently Elton John was the entertainer at Limbaugh’s 4th marriage. So meet another Larry Craig or Rush Limbaugh - the Medal of Hypocrisy winners. Is Limbaugh still in the closet like Larry Craig? Is he not the fervent promoter of God created 'Adam and Eve’ and not ‘Adam and Steve’. The hypocrisy of Cons is out of this world. They should send Limbaugh to Afghanistan to win over Afghans. I heard Pashtuns love chubby men. They like younger ones but he will do.

Another Republican bites the dust for banging his staffer

Repugs constantly talk about family values except for their own families. Mark Souder had to resign because he was doing one of his staffers.

Stephen Harper in China

With torturegate on his hands, how can Harper talk about human rights in China? Remember he would not attend the Chinese Olympics because he said that "Canadians are deeply concerned about China's human rights record" and he was trying to sell that to Canadians to win votes. Now where is his own human rights records?

Also, the China media is calling him for what he really is, a hypocrite. How stupid can he get that he would not attend the Olympics and now he wants to kiss Chinese butts for business with China. This man is a disgrace, I am sorry to say.

By the way Confucius (551-479 BCE) is one of my favourite philosophers/mystics. What he said more than 2000 years ago is so true today. He truly understood human nature. Here is one of my favourite quotes from him"

"Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance."

Socrates (469 BC–399 BC) said something similar a little later on: "I know that I don't know."

Socrates also questioned the Greek establishment and he was sentenced to death on the grounds that he was corrupting the youth by such questions. That tells you how much one should trust an establishment of any kind.

I hope Harper will learn something in China.

William Calley and Abdel Magrahi case and International hypocrisy

First let us take the case of William Calley. There is no question of him being a mass-murderer. He killed over 500 innocent women and children in the village of My Lai in Vietnam. He admitted to having done it. He was charged, tried and was never put in jail. He is and has been a hero for some Americans. Up to recently he showed no remorse. Now he says he is sorry and that he followed bad orders.

Now let us look at Abdel Magrahi of Libya and the Lockerbie bombing killing 243 passenger including 11 people on the ground. If the allegations against him are true then he is a very despicable individual. However, he has denied involvement to this day. Even Scottish authorities and some relatives of victims believe that there may be others who were involved. So there are some doubts about this man being guilty. I have no specific opinion on him being released. If it was done on purely humanitarian reasons then one feels respect for Scottish authorities and their humanitarianism. However if he was part of some oil and gas deal with Libya then you be the judge that how money rules the justice system and every other aspect of our lives.

Nonetheless the hypocrisy, especially that of the American administration, is remarkable. William Calley goes free and that is okay, however if Magrahi is let go because he is going to die within months anyway because of prostate cancer then it is a mockery of justice according to the FBI Director Robert Mueller. Similar views have been expressed by other high officials including Barack Obama. I believe that America must overcome its hypocrisy if it wants any respect in the world. As long there is such blatant hypocrisy and lack of equal respect for all human beings there will be no peace in this world and without peace we will continue to live in a horrible world.

Finally both massacres were hideous and both parties must be equally punished under international law or under civilized national laws.

Hu Jintao meets Bush

Bush warns the President of China, Hu Jintao, that his human rights record is not so good. This is true given the situation in Tibet. But does Bush, of all people, have the moral authority to give that kind of advice given the murder and mayhem he has caused in Iraq.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Malaki is telling Bush to get out as soon as possible.

It is a sad story for Americans. I hope their next President will do better.
