Tea Party and Racism

This picture removes any doubt that the movers and shakers of the Tea-Party are racist.

  1. Sad to say, Breitbart's minions have posted a story about a man at the 'big' tea party yesterday being harassed by protesters for being black. Being Breitbart, I have doubts about the veracity of the story, although it is accompanied by a video. Alas, racism is a product not so much of America but of the human race. It's just that the right wing seems to not care about displaying theirs.

  2. Ignorant indeed, but we all know that a dumb chimp is smarter than any Tea-Partier.

Chimps, gorillas and orangutans rank higher on the taxonomic family than do Tea Partiers.

I believe the accepted order is now:
    Humans (genus Homo)
    Chimpanzees (genus Pan)
    Gorillas (genus Gorilla)
    Orangutans (genus Pongo)
Tea Partiers & CPoC blind-faith supporters (genus Litterae Creatio, Negatio Testimonium)

  3. Jymn, I agree with your assessment. Unfortunately racism is an ugly side of human society. As far as Tea Party and Breitbart are concerned they’re going to be a liability for the Repugs come next election.

  4. Curtis, interesting characterization of the Tea Party. They're at an early stages of the evolution - at a Dinosaur stage.

"genus Litterae Creatio, Negatio Testimonium.." I had to google for these difficult words.

  5. The real story is the non-apology. Unbelievable.

"I simply found it amusing regarding the character of Obama and all the questions surrounding his origin of birth," Davenport wrote. "In no way did I even consider the fact he's half black when I sent out the email. In fact, the thought never entered my mind until one or two other people [Scott Baugh, Orange County GOP boss, and this writer] tried to make this about race. . . . I received plenty of emails about George Bush that I didn't particularly like yet there was no 'cry' in the media about them."

Davenport continued: "That being said, I will NOT resign my central committee position over this matter that the average person knows and agrees is much to do about nothing."

  6. She had all the 'good intentions' and it is the inconsiderate people who don’t understand her sense of humour.

As the saying goes, “the road to hell is paved with good intentions”
