Now here is a guy who is Un-American and Lou Dobbs of CNN missed him, but Uncle Sam knows him better.
Bush was so busy conquering the world that he totally ignored his own country. He took over a trillion dollars out of the American economy and spent on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. If he had spent that money on the economy early, the world would not be in such a mess. He was so pre-occupied to be a conqueror that he totally ignored the American economy and internal affairs. It showed during Katrina and throughout eight years. Add to that negligence, the deregulation, the corruption at Wall Street and Financial institutions and it was a recipe for a disaster and that is exactly what happened. Wall Street has practically collapsed, Madoff made off with $50 billions and on and on. Banks started failing and now the auto industry is near collapse. People are losing their savings, jobs, and homes. It is one hell of a mess. Will he get any more Un-American to mess up his country in this manner during the eight years that he called himself the decider? As far as wars are concerned they are one hell of a huge quagmire. One can wish Barack Obama all the luck to get out of this quagmire and fix the economy too.
US misfortune has spread all over the world. When my American friends ask me why I am interested in American politics so much, my answer is that whatever America does impacts the whole world and we Canadians being next door neighbours are impacted even more.
