Rob Ford on Jimmy Kimmel

 A lot of people on twitter were saying that Jimmy Kimmel, a comedian, asked the questions Peter Mansbridge wouldn't, that it was one of the most hard-hitting interviews of Ford. Kimmel directly confronted Ford on his domestic abuse charges and drug use. Ford in all this seemed out of it, was cringe-worthy to watch. It can't have been a good night for Ford, with a headline like "Rob Ford Ridiculed on Jimmy Kimmel Live" on the CBC. After, just to show what a joke Ford is, Gonzo the Great - who followed him (for real) - said he felt like Rob Ford when asked about his chicken fetish, and then noticed the puddle of Rob Ford's sweat that was left behind from the previous interview (it was nice of Kimmel, earlier, to dab Rob Ford's sweaty brow).

Rob Ford Goes to Hollywood

 Rob Ford is gone Hollywood and is also going to the Oscars, he is quite the actor and his performance deserves an Oscar. He has been a train-wreck as a  mayor but very entertaining. Ford does love the attention - even if it is for drug use and crass behaviour. He must have enjoyed the limo ride he got from late night host Jimmy Kimmel. It will be worth watching him on Jimmy Kimmel's show tonight.

It looks he is more well-known in U.S than Canada.

Sun News cancels Rob Ford and Doug Ford program after one broadcast

That did not last long.

"The Globe and Mail is reporting that Ford Nation was a huge ratings success, pulling in about 155,000 viewers—that counts as a success for Sun News, which reaches only 40 per cent of Canadian homes—but is being binned anyhow because of “the Fords’ relative inexperience with the medium.” Apparently, yesterday’s episode took whopping five hours to shoot and another eight hours to edit. That’s a huge amount of resources for the fledgling Sun News Network. The economics just couldn’t support keeping the show on the air."

I must admit that I did tune in for his and his brother's debut on Sun News T.V show. I could watch only first half of one hour program. That is the longest I have ever watched anything on Sun News. Rob Ford was well-scripted and it was pre-recorded to avoid any major gaffes.

The Sun News actually had quite a few commercials during this first half an hour which means few other curious people like me tuned in too. It may get the highest ratings on the Sun News. Maybe over 25000 usual viewers. After half an hour Ezra Levant was going to interview Rob Ford so I quickly tuned out.
