British bombers hit ISIS oilfields in Syria for 2nd time

It is hard to watch news these days - it is either tragic war in the Middle-East or deadly weather. Weather is really bad in U.S.

  1. Here's a tip, LD. I've given up on TV news entirely. I knew it was gamey back when I did it with CBC in the 70s. It's gotten steadily worse ever since. There are many credible news sources online from almost any country you could imagine and it doesn't take long to sort out the wheat from the chaff. There are also more focused sites - all the major think tanks have them, most of the science agencies too. It's a great way to steer clear of the messaging in lieu of actual information the corporate media cartel spoons out these days.

  2. Mound, I agree with you. I do use Internet to get news.

I have a long term habit to watch NBC Nightly News but I am losing interest in that too.
