Richard Engel: Freed from Syria along with NBC News Team

NBC's foreign correspondent Richard Engel is a great journalist. Dedicated to getting the story from overseas war-zones, with even-handed reporting. Though I think he needs to slow down a bit - if anything for the sake of his family. The story of his - and the NBC team's - captured in Syria is a harrowing one - blind-folded, facing psychological torture, not knowing if they would be executed. Engel describes the experience as traumatic. I'm glad he and the crew escaped (they were able to bail at a check-point), though maybe this will give him some pause, to want to take fewer risks.
