According to the recent BBC documentary examining Romney's relationship to LDS, a woman who was about to become a single mother said Bishop Romney told her she'd be excommunicated if she didn't give her baby up. He denies her allegation but apparently he had little to do with her after that exchange. Her son turned out just fine.
