  2. Stéphane Dion was at least able to put together a coalition which led to prorogation. Now the opposition is so whimpish that Harper need not worry.

  3. I should add that 2010 was the second time he prorogued Parliament again afraid of "No Confidence vote" and coalition taking over. He did it first time when Dion put together coalition in 2008.
