Stephen Harper’s Legacy: Parliament prorogued

"This is the time to recalibrate, consult and deliver the next stage of our plan that we outlined last year in Budget 2009." Dimitri Soudas, communications director for Prime Minister Stephen Harper – Parliament prorogued January to March 2010.

When the going gets tough, lock up and run.

  1. think he'll do it again this year?

  2. Stéphane Dion was at least able to put together a coalition which led to prorogation. Now the opposition is so whimpish that Harper need not worry.

  3. I should add that 2010 was the second time he prorogued Parliament again afraid of "No Confidence vote" and coalition taking over. He did it first time when Dion put together coalition in 2008.
