Return of Shock and Awe

Bush and Cheney shocked the world by their 2003 Shock and Awe of Iraq and the destruction that followed. It was all for oil and Cheney's Halliburton. Is it possible that what goes around comes around? At the same time Bush and Cheney were further loosening the regulations for drilling and especially off-shore drilling. In other words they laid the foundations for the BP disaster which has been going on for over a month now. Nature has its ways of getting even.

BP used the Gulf of Mexico as a crap hole, ignored the safety precautions and we know the horror which followed and people and communities along the Gulf coast will pay the price for many years or many decades to come. It may not be confined to the Gulf and may spread to many coastal areas of the US and elsewhere.

Maybe the British avenged the Boston Tea Party. Here is something for Teabaggers to ponder about.
