Last night, February 10, 2010, CBC's the Fifth Estate had a fascinating documentary on Peter Nygard. Nygard is known as a very successful business in women's clothing and designing, a multibillionaire and a philanthropist. CBC however exposed the predatory side of Nygard, especially when it came to women and his employees. One has to admire the courage of CBC because Nygard is known to sue often when someone challenges him.
It is a very interesting story and exceptionally well narrated. You can watch the video here and draw your own conclusions.
I watched that show last night & was appalled. Nygard is a creep, a mini-dictator in his own little world.
ReplyDeleteNow that is something for the Liberals to take up. This treatment of employees is no better than what China allows. Inforce labour laws but again, there is a lot of doubt that any party would take this up due to support from this dingle wagging old disgusting..disgusting in all aspects...excuse for a man. Women everywhere need to stay away from this creep.

ReplyDeleteNygard is not only a mini-dictator but he claims to be a God. His treatment of his employees and especially women is despicable. One woman was only 16 years old and was asked to record her age as 18 and then she was assaulted according to the documentary. Persons who carry out this kind of behaviour belong behind bars because they are danger to society. How can a person like that escape the law is a black spot on our judicial system. It shows that it does not matter who is guilty but who can afford the most expensive lawyers.
He can be brought down simply by not buying anything from his company.

I can back up everything evil thing you read about him...it is TRUE....I witnessed it....eye witness...I was...trained in the corporate office in Winnipeg.....for the Island Resort and the jet......been there seen that......lawyers against the man....I will testify in any country to what I know.

ReplyDeleteI had a casting to "model" for this sicko yesterday. He was asking young women to dance and then speaking very inappropriately to them. A few girls (or at least one) spoke up to the casting director and several other of us were speaking amongst ourselves at how disgusting he was being.
