This time around I was unable to watch Olympics as much as I did in previous years but I did follow it during the evening news. Yes Canada won two gold medals first time ever on its own soil. Something to celebrate.
Shaun White of US, who won Gold Medal, is a fascinating individual. It looks he has a heart of gold. A role model to follow. He does a lot of charity work with sick children in US and abroad. An amazing human being. I suppose you have to bear the pain to understand it. As a child he says he had heart problem himself and that led him to do this work with children. This aspect of human nature is remarkable and gives some hope and meanings to life. Recommend this post
