Bush stood on the deck of a naval ship and, to great pomp and show, declared that Iraq was "Mission Accomplished." Now, five years later, over 4,000 US soldiers are dead, tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed, millions are wihout proper housing, food, electricity and sanitary conditions and millions of others have fled to neighbouring countries as refugees.
What happened to "Mission Accomplished?" Now all we hear is that "progress is being made." This is a tragedy for Americans, Iraqis and the rest of the World.
