Families spent Christmas trying to salvage what they could in tornado-ravaged parts of Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas as donations pour in.
There seems to be no end to bad weather in U.S.
In Maritime we had a very short summer but on Christmas Day we had 8c. Very erratic weather.

I have been following these weather stories with a mixture of awe and horror, LD. The urgent need to act to mitigate the worst effects of climate change can't be ignored any longer.
ReplyDeleteLorne, I agree. Action needs to be taken world wide without any further delay.
ReplyDeleteAlmost everyday NBC NIGHTLY NEWS starts with the story of storms and tarnadoes which is doing horrible damage including lost of lives.
I'm beginning to feel, LD, that we're like a blind man in a 12-round title fight with one of the Klitschko brothers. We repeatedly fail to see it coming and, when it arrives, we're never prepared for the blow. It's not that we can't, it's that we won't. This is how civilizations have collapsed throughout the history of man.
ReplyDeleteMound, great anology and so true. Very unfortunate and sad.
