One-Sided Debate on Gun Control



 I usually like Power and Politics and Evan Solomon is generally a good host, but what was up here? Why did he only have pro-gun supporters in this discussion? Why no one from the other side to raise the public safety concerns? This was a very one sided discussion. You can read more on this topic here.

    I caught that segment yesterday, LD, and found myself wondering the same thing. As well, I thought it strange that such an opportunity should arise for the Harper government, which will likely intervene, to remind its base who its true friend is.

    I am not one for conspiracy theories, but I can't help but wonder if there is some political orchestration of this matter going on behind the scenes.

    You may be right on. I will not be surprised. Political games are well-oiled machine of the Harper regime--pun intended.
