Kate Middleton and William hold a very difficult job. :)

Prince William finally registered his son's birth certificate. His son's name is His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge - it will take a while to say new prince's name. Kate and William's job is listed as 'Prince and Princess'.

I am sure both Kate and William are nice people but they're like any other couple. These special privileges of prince and princess are outdated. Taxpayers pay highly to maintain their royalty. Good for the British people.

With the added cost of royal security estimated at £50 million ($71 million), the total cost of the British monarchy is about £90 million ($128 million)." This was in 2010 and it must have gone up.

In 2008:
"In addition, the Queen enjoys free postal service, reportedly worth £1.2 million (about $1.7 million). The Queen also received £12 million ($17 million) from private sources—principally from the Duchy of Lancaster."

Maybe British royalty costs less than to maintain our Royal Highness Stephen Harper and his courtiers - (PMO and Cabinet.)
