"An investigation is being carried out into why the U.S. military spent $34 million constructing a building in Afghanistan that has never been used" and may never be used.
Imagine how many homeless people could have been provided shelter in the U.S. with $34 million. A lost war at the cost of more than $642,283,908,982.00 to date and escalating.
2249 U.S soldiers killed in Afghanistan so far and over 100,000 Afghanis killed, a vast majority of them were civilians. Plus 1099 NATO and other soldiers killed. What are the gains. What a tragedy?
