We created those in the fire bombings of Dresden and Hamburg. I haven't seen a natural one for a while but I expect they'll become far more commonplace in parts of the world that are heating and drying up.
You're right. I did think of global warming and frequency of 'fire tornados' when I posted this video. One can only hope that the leaders will wizen up and do something about this imminent disaster.
