Torontonians should put this baboon in a cage and put him in the Toronto Zoo. Surely people will come from all over the world to see this baboon. Children will love to feed him bananas and peanuts.
His latest antic was that he gave a speech on Freedom of the Press Day and stated that it was important for the media to be free.
“The day serves as a reminder that violations of press freedom occur in countries around the world where journalists, editors, publishers are harassed, detained, attacked and killed,” said Mayor Ford.
Then he left without answering a single question from the media. He especially refuses to answer any questions if any of the Toronto Star reporters are there – definitely not if it is Daniel Dale of The Toronto Star. So much for the freedom of the press.

The saddest aspect of his Freedom of the Press speech is the likelihood that Ford sees no irony or hypocrisy in making it.
ReplyDeleteHe is not much smarter than a door knob.
ReplyDeleteHow do people like this get elected in the first place?
ReplyDeleteI suppose he can fool some of the people some of the time but not all the time. Looks like this will be his first and last term.
ReplyDeleteToronto had some very smart mayors in the past. I ran into couple of them. I think one of them was David Crombie. I am forgetting the name of the other. Very smart folks.
