Red Fox Problem in New Waterford, Nova Scotia

New Waterford, Nova Scotia, is having serious problems with wild foxes; they are making holes under properties and causing a lot of damage. Surely this problem is prevalent in other North American communities – and around the world – with wild animals and birds attacking people in cities.

We humans have destroyed the habitats of animals and birds and now they are looking towards our habitat for food and breeding. As we continue to destroy the forests, and other wildlife habitats, it looks this problem will get aggravated. It’s dangerous as some of these animals are capable of attacking and killing people. This happened in Cape Breton and, I understand, in British Columba as well (as well as numerous other locations).

I think we should give more consideration when we clear forests and mess with wildlife habitats.
