Keith Olbermann suspended indefinitely without pay
I was shocked to hear this, Keith Olbermann suspended for donating to three Democratic candidates without obtaining management's authorization. I understand this is MSNBC's policy, to obtain approval before donating to a political candidate, but suspending is excessive.
I enjoy watching Olbermann's show. Also, it was him who took MSNBC from being a struggling network to beating CNN. He brought in Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell and defined MSNBC's prime-time lineup. I think MSNBC President Phil Griffin was worried more about his ego than company policy when he made this move.

UDPATE: Conservative commentator Bill Kristol says Olbermann's suspension is ludicrous. Recommend this post
