Rahim Jaffer shoots himself in the foot

What was Rahim Jaffer thinking when he appeared with his business partner Patrick Glemaud before a Commons Committee? He dug a bigger hole for himself. He was asked if he had on his website a statement indicating that he can get support from the government for businesses who used his services. He denied existence of such a statement. Then the Committee produced a copy of the content from his now defunct web page which included the statement "the business expertise in industry financing in order to help them secure support from the Canadian government..." Not only that, but he also had a CPC logo on his personal website.

He and his business partner looked pathetic because they had no answers to a lot of questions from the Committee and constantly contradicted themselves. This is a perfect example of one shooting his/her own foot.
