Michael Moore was on Countdown, he provided great insights into why healthcare reform is needed. It was a moving moment when Moore wrote a cheque for free clinics in honour of Keith Olbermann's late father, Theodore Olbermann, who was a great advocate for healthcare reform.

What I find appalling is buffoons like Bart Stupak who would prevent a watered down health care bill from passing so he can get impossible abortion language in there.
I find it appalling that in America, the idea of helping the sick is now evul soshalism.
Here is Moore on the Rachel Maddow Show. I think you'll enjoy it.

I also recommend that you rent the dvd , "Capitalism, A Love Story". Certain things in that movie I learned that really made me cringe. Disgraceful!
CK, thank for your comment and link. Michael Moore is a great human being. I watched his movie Sicko and learned a lot from it. Now that "Capitalism: A Love Story" is available on DVD I will acquire it and watch it.
Private Healthcare Insurance lobby is too powerful in US and that is the major hurdle for any reform.
