Thousands of people demonstrated against prorogation around the country. There were big crowds in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Halifax and many other major cities but it has not moved Harper even slightly. Is he delusional? Will he have the upper hand in this gamble given the weak opposition? This could be the complete undoing of Harper if the opposition can keep the heat on.
Harper is trying to dodge too many issues through proroguing including the Afghan torturegate inquiry. What happened to the open government that he promised? What happened to accountability?
