Apparently Obama made a big deal about the visit of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and held the first state dinner in his honour. Then he called India the biggest democracy in the world. That should get Repugs up in arms, as the U.S can be second to none. What is Obama trying to prove? Is he daring China that if they do not co-operate he can always lean on India? How does Pakistan feel, a big rival of India, as the U.S is seeking its help to defeat the Taliban in Afghanistan and in the borders areas. How does Israel feel? When Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu came to visit recently it was a hush hush moment and the media was not allowed in for their meeting; there was no joint press conference which is a kind of routine when a foreign head of state visits the Whitehouse.
