The Finance Minister said a while ago that he may sell the Toronto CN Tower and mused about selling the CBC. What else is on sale? Maybe auction off Canada and at the right price Russians may be interested to buy it, as they are interested in our north anyway. In the meantime, a side deal on the Parliament building. In this current economic crisis, Conservatives may privatize national institutions as Canadians are too pre-occupied with the economy and may not notice it. Watch out Canada.

ReplyDeletePenlan, I did think of US but given the financial crisis they may not be interested at this time. However, that does not stop US Corporations to buy off and probably Americans are the major shareholder of Canadian assets thanks to Harper and other Con governments in the past. Unfortunately I do not see Iggy changing the trend if he becomes PM.
