Okay, she did not name him Money Bags. Maybe she should have. She named him Trip Easton Mitchell Johnson. However, according to media reports, the parents have been offered bags of money for the first picture - $300,000 or more. My golly. Now Grandma Palin may be able to get a few new items for her wardrobe. Not fair. The rest of us get nothing for the pictures of our children other than nice smiles from the neighbours who take pictures.
With that $300,000, Grandma Palin may be getting few million for a book deal. Palins are in the gold. Sarah Palin can pal around with anyone she wants including Shelly Johnson, the other Grandma, or buy her few doses of oxycontin for her highs. Or Shelly Johnson can sign her own book deal of some sort to write a book of being in-laws to the Palins. Notoriety, thy name is riches.
