Evolution can explain the physical laws of creation, but the mind is something extraordinary. It still remains a mystery. This is not to promote any religion, but just to say that life remains, in so many ways, an extraordinary mystery. To me, evolution has not fully explained this mystery of life.

I watched this segment on 60 Minutes last night & it was fantastic! And Rex's mother has just written & published a book about Rex.
ReplyDeletePenlan, on the one hand it was a very moving story as this young man is struggling to make the best of his life despite numerous disabilities (in human terms) and on the other hand it was mystifying. The power of the mind. I am always amazed by the mysteries of the human mind – the complexity of it and multi-emotional aspect to it.
