McCain makes the claim that he is not racist. Yet he and his surrogates keep reminding Americans that, "Oh yeah, he (Obama) speaks well but you cannot 'trust him' as a President." His campaign puts Obama with airheads like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton (the latter whose parents are actually McCain donors) to try and say Obama is just another airhead. Yet they forget, Obama is a Harvard Law graduate and, at 47, he has many achievements to his credit including being a State Senator in Illinois and being elected, in 2004, to the US Senate with the largest majority in Illinois history.
McCain must be whipping his ass over insisting that Obama visit Iraq and Afghanistan -- Obama's trip was very successful and the Iraqi Prime Minister agreed with Obama's sixteen month withdrawal plan. Now McCain has flip-flopped and says it's a good plan.
Since the Iraq issue is gone for McCain, he's going for Obama's ethnicity, implying the risk of not having a President who looks like him, and who doesn't look like other Presidents either.
What looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, must be a duck. McCain and his surrogates are carrying out a smear campaign and sending out subliminal cues highlighting that Obama's middle name is "Hussein" and that he's black, thus he's risky, so watch out.
Respected Washington insider, David Gergen, who has worked for both Republican and Democratic administrations, had some strong words about how McCain is using coded language to attack Obama's race, click here to read the article and watch the video.

How can you accuse McCain of saying this when Obama said it? Can you find the quote or article where McCain said this. I can find the article where Obama said it. Technically nobody brought up race until Obama said he doesnt look like the other presidents.
I will be waiting to see your links that prove McCain said this
ReplyDelete""Since the Iraq issue is gone for McCain, he's going for Obama's ethnicity, implying the risk of not having a President who looks like him, and who doesn't look like other Presidents either""
FredM, apparently you did not read my whole post. When you can say subliminally then why bother actually uttering the words "hey, he is an uppity black" when you can say he is elitist and too ambitious. Please go to David Gergen link and watch the video carefully.
ReplyDeleteI also very clearly wrote that,"....sending out subliminal cues..". And that is the game being played. McSame camp is fooling a few but mostly themselves.
I have to agree with fredm, the picture assumes that McCain is racist, those are the messages the b.o. camp is doing, just like you.
ReplyDeleteA picture is worth a thousand words. Show one instance where the mcCain camp ever brought out the race issue, it was b.o. who started it.
You have every right to your opinion, however, if you read commentaries and watch them on TV then your opinion will be different. David Gergen points out the Moses ad and racist overtones. I thought Moses was John Hagee according to Joe Lieberman.
ReplyDeleteMcCain and sycophants are using racist tactics to demonize Obama. Their latest ads are the example as pointed out by numerous commentators.
