NATO troops needed to extend Afghan mission: panel
Canada's military should remain in Afghanistan beyond February 2009, contingent on more support in terms of troops and equipment, according to a panel led by former Liberal cabinet minister John Manley. Click here to read more.
It seems deputy Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff is indicating a willingness on behalf of the opposition to accept the report's key recommendations.

ReplyDeleteBest way to support our troops is to bring them home so that there are no more senseless deaths.
There is one big problem with the report. The panel did not consult the major stakeholders - the Canadian public. Also those who have lost their loved ones in this war and those whose loved ones lives are on line in Afghanistan.
Let Bush sort out his wars.
