Okay it's a funny, sort of. But the biggest mistake the Liberals could make is to assume that Stephen Harper and the Conservatives (sounds like a boy band) are stupid.
Liberals in the U.S. make that mistake again and again. "Those conservatives are so dumb and we're so smart and this election is going to be cake walk". Then the piano falls on their head.
Question: Why do idiots like Reagan and Dubya stay in power so long?
Answer: Cause they're not idiots, only the people who think they're idiots are idiots.

rabbit, thank you for your comments. Your argument has merits. It is always a mistake to underestimate the opponent.
However, Harper's policies in Afghanistan and his parroting whatever Bush says is going to haunt him. My prediction is that he will lose next election miserably as he has alienated too many Canadians on the above matters as well as his failure to take any credible action on environment issues.
Moreover, he was against floor-crossing and appointments to Senate when in opposition and did quite the opposit when in power. Breaking his promise on Income Trusts are going cost him sizable votes.
