You have every right to your views. However, putting people in jails indiscriminately is not the solution. Jails are known to be training grounds for hardened criminals. It will be better to educate people, especially young with minor refractions, in social responsibility. Severe punishment may not be the deterrent that some will like us to believe. Education and removing the conditions, such as poverty and helplessness, could reduce incidences of breaking law.
