Andrew Meyer at John Kerry's speech at University of Florida

To taser or not to taser, that is the question. Is this guy Andrew Meyer for real and was there a violation of the freedom of speech or is Meyer just another publicity hound?

Kyla Ebbert - Southwest Airlines, moralists and fashion police

Since Kyla Ebbert pictures are such a hit with the readers of my blog I did still another and may do some more in the future if the situation arose.

Phallus Complex - Burj Al Arab, Dubai Vs. CN Tower, Toronto

Up to recently, the CN Tower was the tallest structure in the World. Now Dubai, United Arab Emirates has built a hotel (the Burj Al Arab) which is taller than CN according to media reports.

If you can afford to pay $5000 per night, then you can stay in this Burj Al Arab hotel. One wonders why some Canadian MPs and Senators made sure to stop over in Dubai when they were destined to visit Afghanistan ;)

To read more about Phallus complex, visit the following link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phallus
UPDATE: It has come to my attention that the hotel in question is the Burj Dubai which is a newer structure than the Burj Al Arab. Nonetheless, the point still remains the same.

George W. Bush says that Osam Bin Laden's video is threatening

If only he would have concentrated on one war at a time and not invaded Iraq... I suppose the oil lobby must be very strong in the U.S. Apparantely oil takes precedence over national security.

Southwest Airlines' dress code - Kyla Ebbert

UPDATE: Click here to find out more.

Southwest fashion police set no-fly zone
As the mercury climbed over 100 on Labor Day, I called Southwest Airlines with a not entirely hypothetical question:

Could a young woman board a flight to Tucson today wearing a bikini top?

Angelique, the agent who took my call, assured me that a young woman could.

"We don't have a problem with it if she's covered up in all the right spots," she said. "We don't have a dress code."

Tell that to Kyla Ebbert, who was escorted off a Southwest Airlines flight two months ago for wearing an outfit far less revealing than a bikini top. Click here to read more.

Meet Mr. Chinocchio - Brian Mulroney

Whether you love or hate Pierre Trudeau, he is no longer in this World. If Brian Mulroney had nothing good to say about him, then it would have been better that he said nothing at all rather than badmouth Mr. Trudeau. I personally have nothing against Brian Mulroney but I thought his comments about Trudeau were inappropriate. I agree with Stephane Dion when he said that Trudeau cannot defend himself, thus it's wrong for Mulroney to make such statements.
Also, I believe that Trudeau was one of the greatest Prime Ministers we’ve ever had. He was very strong on human rights issues, he had international stature and he gave Canada visibility and recognition on an international level.

I think we should celebrate Pierre Trudeau's achievements as a Great Canadian Prime Minister.

What the heck. I have reviewed considerable material - editorials, news stories and some Youtube videos and come to the conclusion that making more fun of the Senator is OK.

George W. Bush has solved the mystery of Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)

Now would he bomb the United Nations?

Chemical From Iraq Discovered at U.N.
By ROBERT D. McFADDEN
Published: August 31, 2007

No unconventional weapons were found in Iraq after the United States-led invasion in 2003. But a potentially deadly chemical agent produced by Saddam Hussein’s regime has turned up, improbably, in an office at the United Nations in New York, and it had the F.B.I. and the city police scrambling yesterday. Iggy is huffin and puffin in Saint John's ;)

Ignatieff touts `noble' puffin
"They (puffins) hide their excrement. They have good family values. They flap their wings very hard and they work like hell. This seems to me a symbol for what our party should be," Ignatieff told reporters yesterday.

"My wife and I were very impressed with the noble bird. Noble in my lexicon means underappreciated as well." Click Here to Read More at the Toronto Star.
