Wikileaks on Gaza

While the latest wikileaks revelations on Gaza don't offer new information per se, they confirm that Israel had no real intention of resolving matters in Gaza. The leaks show that Israel wanted to keep Gaza on the brink of collapse so that it would be crippled while not crippling it so much as to attract too much international attention.

Gaza has been turned into a prison camp of more than one million people; it is apartheid as Reverend Tutu has said.

Ten Commandments and Israel today

The following video is a little over 6 minutes but worth watching. It is a montage of two videos and my own minor additions. I am not a religious person but since Israel’s foundation is on Judaism, I thought that bringing in the 10 commandments would be very relevant.



A gentleman has been coming on my blog and leaving extensive comments, reasonably polite, but insisting that Israel is right and Palestinians and other Arabs are wrong and the whole world is wrong and only Israel is on the right path. It is this gentleman who motivated me to do this video because I watched with horror what Israel did in 2008 and 2009 and the whole world sat on the sidelines.

In Ten Commandments what Judaism teaches is peace and Israel is doing quite the opposite. Israel carried out mass killing in 2008/2009 in Gaza and Lebanon. It carried out killings before this, and it continues to do so to this day. Gaza is like a concentration camp as some world leaders put it. Rev. Desmond Tutu called the treatment of Palestinians apartheid and a Jewish British MP said that Israel was behaving like Nazis see my earlier post

Israel is building settlements on land which belongs to Palestinians. That is definitely not the way to peaceful co-existence. When you take other people’s land and homes there will be reaction. Just think of it this way, if your neighbour plants a bush a few inches on your property how would you react? Now think of that neighbour taking over your home and pushing you into the shed. And then build a huge fence around that shed to keep you imprisoned in there. It is this kind of injustice that the Israeli government is perpetuating on the Palestinian people. As long as that goes on there is a very little chance for peace. Israel must obey UN resolutions and pull back to pre-war 1967 boundaries. This is essential for peaceful co-existence. The two state solution will be the solution and even leaders in Gaza have said, including Hamas, that they will fully recognize the existence of Israel if this happens. Those actions are needed for the sake of Israel, for the sake of Palestinians, and for the sake of peace.

Benjamin Netanyahu: The Mad Man of the Middle East

We live in a mad mad world. There is the US who thinks it has a God-given right to invade smaller countries and demolish them to nothingness as it happened and is happening in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is hoped that Obama will use more common sense and stop these world destructive ways of the US administration.

Then we have US minion Israel whose leaders think it has a similar God-given rights as the US; add Benjamin Netanyahu to that equation and it gets worse.

Netanyahu stood next to our majestic leader Stephen Harper and said that it was all the fault of those who were on the Gaza food flotilla. He said Israeli soldiers were attacked, stabbed, clubbed and mobbed. Hello Ben it is your soldiers who invaded hundreds of civilian in international waters and killed at least 10, injured many and arrested and jailed the rest. This man is insane and it speaks volumes about our majestic leader Harper who keeps such a company and Iggy who is hiding somewhere nearby.

How long will the world put up with this. This minion of the US goes into Gaza and kills innocent civilians at will, goes into Lebanon and kills and slaughters civilians at will, goes into a hotel in Dubai to kill a Hamas leader, flies over Syria and bombs it, in the past flew over Iraq and bombed civilians there. Now this madman Ben Netanyahu wants to bomb Iran on similar excuse as Iraq (WMDs) which was bombed and then invaded by the US. This madness must stop. There must be some international action to stop this madness and state sponsored terrorism and slaughter of innocent people. If we let this go on we are writing the final chapter of our own destruction.

Israeli war crimes in Gaza: Israeli soldiers speak out

I found out about the "Breaking Silence" report through PBS's Worldfocus program. It is sickening what Israel did in Gaza six months ago (and many times prior to that) but generally western media is silent on it. It is good to know that some people have a conscience, and that they don't let nationalism dictate what they think. It restores my faith in humanity that no matter how strong the brainwashing is done of soldiers, they are not robots and humanity shows through. In this case many Israeli soldiers. These soldiers must be commended for their courage and the World must wake up to Israel's atrocities towards the Palestinians.

Michael Ignatieff, Stephen Harper and Their Buddy

Is there any difference? Do you see any difference in these like-minded creatures?

It all started with that jerk Ezra Levant, he maligned many Liberal bloggers as "anti-Semetic" and "anti-Israel" just because they were expressing their horrors at the slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza. This upset me too much. Then, I started reading more about the situation in the Middle East, it upset me even more.

After that, some good bloggers were kicked off Liblogs because they also expressed horror about the slaughter. I protested the expulsion... and then I was expelled. I became even more upset and read more about the situation in the Middle East. I came to realize that real crimes were being committed there by the Israeli government, both currently and in the past. That is when I started devoting my blog more and more to the Gaza tragedy.

Then of course I heard the speeches from the two British MPs. One Jewish MP, Gerald Kaufman who said that Israel was acting like Nazis in Gaza, and George Galloway who expressed grave concern over this slaughter as well. All this became more and more upsetting to me, that the World is allowing this tragedy and that the gutless and spineless Bush, Harper and Ignatieff are unconditionally supporting this. Hey World, your conscience had better bother you. MPs Galloway and Kaufman are saying it like it is.

I have no respect left for Harper and Ignatieff. Especially Ignatieff disappointed me the most because I expected better from him. He turned out to be a complete pinhead who is in total disconnect from reality.

What really unnerved me was when I heard the story of Palestinian Dr. Izz el-Deen Aboul Aish who worked for Israeli hospitals. His daughters were slaughtered in his house when Israelis dropped one of their bombs. The Sad and Explosive Situation in the Middle East

This fire has the potential to explode further. Given the involvement of the big powers, it is potentially very dangerous. This situation needs to be resolved to the satisfaction of all parties concerned. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton had better insight. God help us with this Bush guy.
