That is what Joe Biden said about the Healthcare bill in a whisper to President Obama that was not supposed to be picked up by the microphones. The Healthcare bill is far from perfect, but it is a good start. It is historic, it took a lot of effort and negotiation in Congress. The opposition for opposition's sake from the Repugs was unbelievable.

Michaele Salahi slays Whitehouse security

If you're a woman, have long blonde hair and are beautiful then the wall of security keeps tumbling down. I wonder if a black-couple would have made it? Both Rahm Emanuel, Mr. Obama's Chief of Staff, and Joe Biden were tripping over each other to get their picture taken with Ms. Salahi. Security did the same. No one would have known if Salahis had decided not to post their pictures with the Veep and the Chief of Staff on their facebook page. Now you know guys and gals, looks do matter, don't go into the Whitehoue with a long beard or if you're a woman with headcover. Yippee! This one is good.

What are fanatics going to do now? Hire blue-eyed blonde hair beautiful women to penetrate security and access their destinations.

Huffington Post makes a good point as to why Crowley did not arrest Joe Biden despite his very "disruptive behaviour", because he is white ;) Professor Gates was not nearly as disruptive.

Blonde wins: Beer Party at the Whitehouse

Joe Biden needs a muzzle

Joe Biden is a loose cannon. Now in an interview in Iraq he said that it is up to Israel whether it wants to bomb Iran or not. It is like saying that 5 year olds are free to play with matches or fireworks. Both Binyamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, and Avigdor Lieberman, Foreign Minister, are like these 5 year olds. They are both trigger-happy and to give them a green light is like throwing the world in an inferno. If they do bomb Iran, given the instability in Iran it can start fireworks which can engulf the whole globe.

What is Joe Biden going to say next? North Korea is an independent country and if it wants to invade Japan it is North Korea's decision? Please Mr. Obama get a muzzle for your Veep, Joe Biden.

A Slap on Benjamin Netanyahu's Face

Vice President Joe Biden reached out to the international community Saturday, saying that the U.S. is open for talks with Iran to repair relations, and willing to work with allies to solve world problems. However, Netanyahu of Israel wants to bomb Iran and wipe it off the map.

Will it be a different and peaceful world under the Obama administration? This new approach will render the extremists, including Netanyahu, irrelevant to the new world order.

Dick Cheney upset come Jan 20, 2009

If Joe Biden thinks that he will smoothly move into his new Vice-Presidential residence, then he should think again. Dick Cheney is not easily going to leave. Biden should especially look for any gun in Cheney’s hands. Cheney must be completely disarmed prior to being evicted from the Vice-Presidential Residence.

Sarah Palin and Joe Biden Debate

Some CONS, including McSame, say that Sarah Palin did a knock out job at the VP debate. I saw the whole debate and saw no knock out punch by her. She could not answer many direct questions and took refuge in saying that she was a hockey mom, and asked to let her get together with Regular Joe 6paks and produce alot of energy in Alaska. A high school student with some debating ability would have done better. The only thing she did not do is burst out in tears and leave the stage. Maybe that is the standard CONS are using to assess her.

Biden did exceptionally well. He answered the questions superbly and his experience and talent shone through.

Democratic Party Convention – Day 3

It was a very successful and memorable day. Hillary Clinton’s move to make Barack Obama’s candidacy unanimous was received with thunderous applause. I gave some details of it in my previous post.

There were some great speakers on Day 3. But I will say Bill Clinton stole the show. He was at his best. The crowd went crazy. He had a hard time starting his speech because the crowd kept on in its standing ovation. He asked them jokingly many times to calm down and sit down. He then gave a superb and gracious speech.

He proved many pundits wrong that he was bitter. He showed no bitterness and was very generous in praising Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Pundits had predicted that Bill Clinton would have difficulty saying the words "Barack Obama." He said "Barack Obama" repeatedly and said Obama was ready to lead. I thought it was one of the best speeches of his career as a politician and, after Ted Kennedy, the most moving speech at the convention. He brought the audience to their feet many times. He said America is at its best when it uses the "power of example and not the example of power" referring to quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan. I believe his speech will go a long way to bring the Democratic Party together.

John Kerry was another great speaker. He used an interesting approach of comparing Senator McCain with Candidate McCain and how these two (personalities of McCain) are at odd with each other. He added that before there is any presidential candidates’ debate, Senator McCain and Candidate McCain must debate to reconcile their differences. Through humour and eloquence his speech was well received.

The final speaker was Joe Biden. His introduction by his son Beau Biden, who will be sent to Iraq soon, was very moving and touching. Joe Biden himself gave a great speech. He offered some of the sharpest criticism of John McCain – first he said "George..." then said "sorry I mean John McCain."

At the end Barack Obama made a surprise appearance. He spoke briefly and thanked Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton for their support. I thought it was a smart move.

Overall, it was a great night for Democrats.

Biden it is!!!

It's an Obama-Biden ticket. Joe Biden is the confirmed veep for Obama. Biden has thirty-six years in the Senate. Is he the Washington insider who may resist change that is Obama's central theme? Time will tell. But right now this is the happy couple and they're off to the tracks for the race.
