11 workers killed on the day the BP rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. 2 died at a later date. Thousands will have health problems which could be fatal. This crude oil may enter the food chain via seafood. Thousands and maybe millions of sea-creatures have been impacted and many are already dead. It is a disaster of an extraordinary proportion.
