You must have heard of this crazy guy, US Congressman William Jefferson who hid some $90,000 of bribery money in his freezer. Apparently Thomas Jefferson (the guy on the bills) was not amused. The Congressman got caught with all that cold cash. Now he faces 13 years in the slammer. Maybe they will put him in the deep freeze somewhere for those 13 years. You don't mess with Thomas Jefferson as sometimes he does lose his cool.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A former Louisiana congressman who famously hid $90,000 cash in his freezer was sentenced Friday to 13 years in prison for taking bribes, the longest term ever imposed on a congressman for bribery charges.

Good riddance! Now let's see some of this justice trickle on down here. Using taxpayer money for partisan gain is an offence that should be punishable by prison time.
