Frederick Mwenengabo in Fredericton on hunger strike protesting Stephen Harper’s scheduled trip to Congo

The man has been on hunger strike for the last 5 weeks and is asking that Stephen Harper not go to Congo. He is on a hunger strike to protest against human rights abuses in his native country of the Democratic Republic of Congo and that Stephen Harper should show some empathy and not go to Congo. But Stevie is ‘leaving On A Jet Plane’ anyway.

Read the story here
What is with Stevie? Since he got his majority there is no end to his travels, Singapore, Japan, China, USA and on and on – all on the taxpayers’ dime. Apparently human rights are the least of his concerns and he is headed for Congo anyway.

Stephen Harper’s latest victim: Rights And Democracy agency axed

Ironically Rights & Democracy was created in 1988 by Brian Mulroney’s government - the independent agency monitors human rights and promotes democracy abroad.

Stevie must be musing to himself, “Who do you think I am - baby sitter for the rest of the world? I am the ruler of Canada and my job is to rule Canada and sell Tar Sands oil to the USA and China.”

What were 39% of Canadians thinking when they gave this moron a majority so that he can screw the country and ruin our reputation internationally?

Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh on Trayvon Martin's murder

Rush Limbaugh:

Bill O'Reilly:

I believe these two bastards should be arrested too. They're spreading too much hatred. Is it possible that this hate-mongering is resulting into some of the hate crimes?

United States of America Vs. United States of America

U.S does not need wars internationally. Americans are at war with each other every day. I believe in the last ten years more murders took place in U.S than soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Monday (April 2, 2012),

"....the former student accused of killing at least seven people at a California college Monday recently lost two family members and had debts, according to reports."By NBC News, msnbc.com staff and news services,

Recently an innocent teenager Trayvon Martin killed by a racist George Zimmerman.

Here are more examples of mass-killing in U.S

2011 Grand Rapids, Michigan shooting

United States, 2011, Rodrick Dantzler
Seven people killed in two separate homes and two persons injured by firearms, suspect later killed himself after holding three people hostage in a home.

United States, 2010, Christopher Speight

Speight killed eight people in three locations in Appomattox, Virginia with a high-powered rifle over the course of several hours before surrendering to police.

Geneva County massacre

United States, 2009, Michael McLendon
McLendon, a 28-year-old unemployed man, used an SKS rifle, a Bushmaster AR-15 and a .38-caliber handgun to kill 10 people before shooting himself.

Virginia Tech massacre

United States, 2007, Seung-Hui ChoCho,
Using two pistols, killed 32 in two separate events and then himself in the course of about three hours.

Red Lake massacre, United States, 2005’ Jeff Weise

"Weise shot and killed his grandfather and his grandfather's girlfriend, both police officers. He then proceeded to a local high school and fatally shot a security guard, five students, and a teacher, injured 15 others, and then committed suicide.."

Update:“ In the US, there are roughly 17,000 murders a year, of which about 15,000 are committed with firearms. And it's not just about murder. The non-gun-related suicide rate in the US (are additional killing) ….. Factor in firearms, and the rate is suddenly twice as high as the rest of the developed world.” Atlantic Review

Sunflower: Flower which worships the sun

This is a further mystery of life. This particular flower - called the sunflower - follows the sun as the sun moves across the horizon. This is another example of the interesting behaviour of plants.

Here is an interesting video about the sunflower and the bees who love this flower.

Update: Another fascinating characteristic of the sunflower is that it is shaped like sun.

Do Plants behave like humans?

According to David Suzuki and other scientist they do.

Plants compete for food

Plants protect their off-spring.

If certain bugs harm certain plants, plants send a special scent signal to other bugs who would come and eat the bugs which were harming the plants

Plant siblings look after each other and care for them and try and kill other plants who may compete for food

Some plants eat bugs

Some plants are a predator to other plants and have likes and dislikes for the plants they will like for food.

BREAKING NEWS: Stephen Harper has decided to resign!

Stephen Harper announced that he no longer wants to hold the office of PM. He has admitted to the wrong-doings in the robo-call scandal, saying he is no longer worthy to govern. He has also admitted to abuse of Parliamentary procedure - through proroguements - and overall contempt for democratic institutions.

"The only way I can truly recant," said Harper, "is to step down now."

Harper also stated that he's fed-up of "Mulcair and that Bob Rae guy, they have nothing else to do but criticize me all the time."

:) April 1st day.

Update: I wonder if Blogger.com is removing my post. What happened to their sense of humour?

Update 2: He was heard singing the following song @ 24 Sussex Drive.

Mike Huckabee gone Cuckoo-bee

Once in a while I watch Mike Huckabee because he has interesting guests and sometimes good discussions.

However, last Saturday night Mike Huckabee turned into Mic Cucko-bee. He started off invoking Martin Luther King and human rights, which sounded good, and then brought in the discussion of the recent murder of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.

Huckabee accussed Reverend Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson of seeking publicity for themselves, and saying that the demonstrations served no purpose whatsoever.

In Huckabee's view, that's why Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the demonstrators are wrong. According to Huckabee, let the investigation take its course, and find out what really happened.

That is absolutely BS. How many times are young African-Americans murdered by white racists - especially in the southern United States - and walk away from such murders with police ("investigators") complicit.

That is why these demonstrations are extremely crucial to bring attention to this horrible crime. I understand these demonstrations have now become international, and people in London have demonstrated in front of the US embassy in support of Trayvon Martin's family.

George Zimmerman continues to run free, and the only way he can be made accountable is more and more pressure put on local authorities through such demonstrations and through the involvement of the US Congress.

Huckabee has a lot of learning to do. He comes from Arkansas, he should know better.
