Sorry, I could have changed their attire to blue but would that make a difference? Mr. Harper's attempts are a little too blantant to change the colour to 'blue'.
I appreciate what you are saying, but the judiciary must be non-political -- the selection process suggested by the Prime Minister reeks of political interference by stacking the committee with Conservatives.
The Prime Minister admitted himself in the Parliament that he was trying to appoint conservative judges who will go along with the Conservative philosophy. That doesn't sound healthy for a judicial system which must be kept impartial.
It doesn't matter if it's Liberals or Conservatives, both parties must respect the independance of the judiciary -- in the selection process and in decision making.
